Dorthe is a very creative person. She loves to be creative through her floral works.
Dorthe is also creative through her subjects, here she finds new fun and creative ways to teach the Danish language and our interesting culture.
The subject
Together we will prepare for visits, exchange experiences and explore different Danish institutions. Among the planned activities are:
- Visit a local farm to learn about Danish farming tradition.
- Conversations with the local priest to gain insight into the Danish folk church.
- Meets with a Danish 10th grader to hear about the Danish school system.
- Visit to a local kindergarten and an activity center for the elderly.
Language games and communicative exercises
The teaching is based on playing with the language. We will carry out small communication exercises, use music and read short texts. The work with written exercises will also be an important part of the teaching.
Individual and Common Grammar
We will read short stories, newspaper articles and short stories together, which we will then discuss and analyze in small groups. There will be space for both individual grammar exercises and joint grammar lessons.
Creative Writing
We work to express ourselves in writing through both short and longer stories based on joint presentations. In smaller groups, you will be given written assignments that strengthen your ability to write in Danish.
Danish work
Learn the necessary language skills to succeed in a Danish workplace:
- Words and phrases used in a work context.
